Petition for GTA V PC Version passes 116,000 signatures

The petition on Change.org for GTA V to be available on PC as well as consolses has surpassed 116,000, in fact it has nearly passed 117,000. Currently the number stands at 116,980 signatures, and is being signed frequently.

The petition letter states:

To:
Rockstar Games
Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people's lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.
I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it'll make many people very happy!
Sincerely,
[Your name]

Fans are devastated that the game hasn't already been announced for PC, and are worried it might never come. Rockstar has still released no word on if there will be a PC version, but hopefully this petition may change their mind.

GTA V game time similar to Red Dead Redemption

After releasing their second trailer for GTA V, Rockstar has returned to their cave of secrecy. Almost nothing really solid was learnt from when the original trailer was released a whole year before the second in November 2011, one thing is for sure, they're pretty adamant about keeping secrets.

But we have some fresh news! As you may or may not be aware there are three characters playable throughout the main story: Michael, Trevor and Franklin to give the game a bit of diversity. Now we are hearing that there are also multiple endings for the game, which makes sense if there's three different characters. This means that players decisions could harshly impact the story line, and the final out come at the end of the game. If that isn't enough, we have also heard that the main story will have 25-30 hours content, and that's without side missions, mini-games, police pursuits and many other shenanigans that you get up to in Los Santos. To put things in perspective, GTA V will be very similar to their Wild-West shooter RPG "Red Dead Redemption" in longevity, and Red Dead was a long game.

So we don't have to worry about running out of things to do when we move into our new pretty city next year, phew!

GTA: V Not coming for PC or Wii U Yet

According to sources, Grand Theft Auto 5 will not be available on PC or the latest Wii U gaming console, when the game is released in the first quarter of next year. Or at least not yet, there are considerations that it will come for the Wii U, and may be able to perhaps utilise the consoles latests processors. All previous games in the series have been available on PC.

Rockstar are known for focusing on the console versions of their games before bringing them to PC, but don't always. A recent Crime Sandbox LA: Noire, developed by Rockstar, was released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, then followed by PC months later.

Fans have created an online petition in attempts to bring the game to PC like its predecessors.
